Mike and Lauren Got Hitched

-- Weddings - June 3, 2008 6:30 am

Lauren and Mike got very lucky! It rained in the morning. It rained in the evening. Luckily, the three hours we were outside it was dry as a bone. We had a great time stomping around the Lafayette Park area with reception over at the Lucas Schoolhouse.

Lauren and Mike are Engaged!

-- Portraits - November 11, 2007 3:25 pm

These two crazy kids are just about the most easy-going people you’d ever want to meet. We took a stroll around downtown St. Louis for their engagement session stopping off at the arch-grounds, the Eads Bridge overlook, Washington Street, the Fed, basically anything in a 4 block radius. Lauren and Mike will be married in May of ‘08.

Nikki and John Tied the Knot

-- Weddings - October 27, 2007 9:06 pm

Nikki and John got real lucky. Friday was an abysmal day. It was cold, rainy, and just generally depressing in St. Louis. Luckily, Saturday may have been the single nicest day of the year! Their ceremony was down at the City Museum (which has a lot of really cool places for pictures) with a rock-and-roll tour of the city for pictures. We hit up the arch-grounds, Busch Stadium, and Keiner Plaza. Finally, the reception was held at Orlando Gardens West.

Sara and Josh Tie the Knot

-- Weddings - October 13, 2007 6:19 am

Sara has to be one of the most innately happy people I’ve every met. That personality trait was obvious on her wedding day! It tried to rain on us, just a little, which probably made the day feel more chilly than it really was. Luckily, the weather held out enough to get some great images.

Sara and Josh were married at the Jewel Box in Forest Park. For pictures we stopped by the Grand Basin area and spent a while at Saint Louis University, Sara’s alma mater. Their reception was at Orlando Gardens in West County.

Angie and Brad Got Hitched!

-- Weddings - October 11, 2007 7:07 pm

You might remember Angie from her bridal session a few posts back. Her big day was Saturday! She looked gorgeous and her (now) husband Brad looked spiff as well. It tried to rain on us at the beginning but after a few drops everything dried out. It’s a special bonus for Angie, luck of rain on her wedding day without actually getting wet!

Anyway, the wedding and reception were at the Butterfly House in Faust Park. It was my first time shooting a wedding there and it was fantastic! The ceremony was on a balcony over the lake with the guests watching from the garden path. Really cool stuff.
